MEDIDEO, whose registered office is located at 86 avenue des Ternes 75017, Paris (hereinafter referred to as “MEDIDEO” or “We”), acting as Data Manager, would like to inform you of the methods of collection, use and sharing of your personal data via this website (hereinafter referred to as “Site”) and the use of associated services (hereinafter referred to as “Services”), in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations covering the protection of personal data, in particular: Law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms; (EU) Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and European Council of April 27, 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), which came into force on May 25, 2018; Law n° 2018-493 of June 20, 2018 relating to the protection of personal data; and any other normative act, decree, regulation or provision, which would be enacted by a competent national or European personal data protection authority – hereinafter collectively referred to as “applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.”
MEDIDEO is the designated data manager of your personal data (namely, any information related to an identified or identifiable person, called the “Person Concerned”), processed via the Site and expressly for the use of the Services, in the conditions set out in this Personal Data Protection Policy (“Personal Data Policy”).
This Personal Data Policy, as well as the Cookie Policy, available here, concerns all users, including those who use the Site and the Services without being registered or subscribed to a specific service (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Users”).
MEDIDEO will collect registration data; the data that you have voluntarily shared with MEDIDEO; navigation data relating to access and use of the Site and the Services and other miscellaneous information. In particular, MEDIDEO will collect the following information:

MEDIDEO may collect your personal data (for example, first name, last name, email, address, telephone number, etc.) when you submit a request via the online form on the Site, when you create an account on the Site, or when you use our Services.
The newsletter publication service includes processing of personal data managed by MEDIDEO. The data comes from the registration, for the person wishing to receive the newsletter, via their e-mail in the registration field at the bottom of the page on the MEDIDEO site.
When you access and use the Site or the Services, MEDIDEO may collect information about these visits. For example, in order to establish your connection to the Site or the Services, our servers receive and record information about your computer, device, and browser, which may include but is not limited to the IP address, type of browser, and other information relating to computer software or hardware.
If you access the Site or the Services via a mobile phone or another device, MEDIDEO may collect the unique device identifier, geolocation data, and other identification data relating to this device. Information may also be collected via cookies and other tracking technologies (such as navigation cookies, retargeting, audience measurements, web beacons, and Adobe Flash technologies, etc.). These technologies can also be used to collect and store information about your use of the Site or the Services, such as the pages you have visited, the online content you have viewed, the internet searches you have performed.
We do not collect:
The Services that may be associated with websites published by unaffiliated companies, and which may include advertisements, offers of online content, features, games, newsletters, contests or sweepstakes, or applications developed by unaffiliated companies.
MEDIDEO denies all responsibility for the Personal Data Protection Practices used by third-party companies. Once you leave the Services or click on an advertisement, it is your responsibility to check the applicable personal data protection policy for that other service.
We process the data to:
a) Allow you to use the Site and the Services;
b) Send you our newsletter if you have subscribed to the MEDIDEO newsletter;
c) Evaluate and improve our Services and the corresponding functionalities;
d) Improve your experience using the Site and the Services;
e) Respond to your inquiries;
f) Comply with legal obligations (including requirements concerning the provision of Services), or respond to requests from public and governmental authorities;
g) Respond to the interests of MEDIDEO; in certain cases, MEDIDEO may disclose your personal data, in particular when MEDIDEO considers in good faith that such disclosure of data is necessary to: protect, exercise or defend the rights, privacy, security, or property of MEDIDEO or those of its employees, agents and service providers (including the execution of our general conditions of use); protect the safety, privacy and security of users of the Site, Services or the public; protect against fraud, or for risk management purposes.
a) The data processing operations presented in Section 3 (a) of Section 3 (f) of this Personal Data Policy are based on the legitimate interests of the Data Manager for the purposes of operating the Site, responding to Users’ requests and to provide the Services. With regard to certain cookies that may be used, the processing is based on the consent of the Person Concerned (cookies);
b) The processing presented in Section 3 (g) of this Personal Data Policy is based on the legitimate interests of MEDIDEO or the applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
MEDIDEO will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes sought, as described in Section 3 above.
Your information is kept:
The data is processed both manually and electronically and is protected by appropriate security measures. In this regard, although MEDIDEO uses appropriate administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against theft, loss, misuse, disclosure or unauthorized modification, it cannot guarantee that it will be able to guard against all existing information technology risks.
Within the framework of the purposes presented in Section 3 of this Personal Data Policy, your data will be communicated internally to the Communications Department. MEDIDEO may also communicate your personal data to the following recipients:
a) Third-party service providers, sub-contractors or second-tier sub-contractors (information technology service providers, service providers linked to the Services);
b) Competent national authorities: in order to comply with the applicable law.
We will not carry out any transfer of personal data to non-EEA countries.
You can, at any time and free of charge, exercise the following rights:
a) right of access, portability, rectification, erasure and limitation of personal information;
b) right to object for legitimate reasons to the processing of your data;
c) possibility of sending us appropriate instructions to determine what happens to your data (storage, erasure, communication to a third party, etc.) in the event of death.

MEDIDEO reserves the right to modify or complete this document following any changes or additions to the applicable Regulations about the protection of personal data.
